BIOS

Simeon Rice is one of the greatest defensive players in the history of the NFL. He was a Super Bowl winner with the 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he’s on next year’s NFL Hall of Fame ballot. Prior to the NFL, he had a prolific career at the University of Illinois, resulting in him being drafted in the 1st round (3rd overall pick) by the Arizona Cardinals in the 1996 NFL Draft. He started his career with a bang by registering 12.5 sacks, and winning the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award – and he was just getting started!

All he did after that was tally 122 career sacks, good for 19th in NFL history, to go along with 3 Pro Bowl and 4 All-Pro selections. At the time of his retirement, he was 9th all-time in sacks, and he truly ushered in a new era of sack artists, paving the way for players such as Jason Taylor, not only in terms of physical stature, but also in how teams use their pass rushers. Simeon Rice was an absolute game changer, and may very well end up a 2018 NFL HOF’er!

Jason Beem is the regular radio host for the BetAmerica Radio Network. In addition, he has a passionate horse racing fan following, not only for being a gifted track announcer, but also because of his famed, “Beemie Awards” show, which is “Horse Racing’s FAVORITE Awards show” and held in December every year.

Jason Beem became the host of the BetAmerica.com radio and podcast network after nearly a decade of announcing horse races across the country. Beem has announced races at Portland Meadows, River Downs and Louisiana Downs, as well as guest announcing spots at Hastings, Emerald Downs, and even Tucson Greyhound. He grew up attending the races at Longacres, WA, with his dad, and became a fanatic of racing by following his favorite horse, the big grey, Captain Condo.

In 2014 Jason had his debut novel Southbound published.
